Heartland Hospice

Hospice pet volunteers visit patients in nursing homes, assisted living communities and private homes. Pet therapy has been shown to increase pain tolerance, reduce stress, lower blood pressure, and bring smiles to patient's faces. Owner must provide a copy of the pets updated vaccines. We do not offer training or certification for pets.

Background check, TB vaccination and orientation/training all provided by Heartland Hospice
