DATE & TIME:
Wednesday, August 24 from 3-5pm
The Elmira Clothing Bank is a campaign hosted and operated by HOPE Online Learning Academy, a non-profit, public charter school for at-risk youth serving the greater Denver metro area for students K-12.
We collect donated clothing from schools and organizations around the Denver area and open our warehouse up to the families of our students and other community members in need. The clothing bank is opened officially a couple times a year to the public and througout the year on an as-needed basis. All items are free for any community member.
With an overwhelming amount of donations that we receive year round but with very little support to process it, the warehouse can easily be a task must too great for just one or two people to manage.
If you have a heart for supporting efforts that benefit at-risk youth, have experience volunteering at clothing banks or if you just have an interest in local organizations that directly impact our local community, please lend a hand with us! We would love your support. The project is simple: sort, organize and process donated clothing. We will turn up some music, enjoy each others company and have fun helping others. This is a perfect opportunity for a church, youth group and any other group or individual who desires to make a difference.
Bring a friend, bring another non-profit, charitable organization, bring your church friends and lets do some good for the community!
*We will observe our typical hours of operation between 9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday for this sorting event.
