Collect unwanted shoes, any style, condition and size which will help fund medical research under Team Sanfilippo Foundation.
Sanfilippo Syndrome is a rare genetic disorder in young children. Parents lose their kids before they are teenagers. It is cruel, painful, and steals the future of families.
Looking for 150 goal oriented people, who are each determined to collect 25 pairs of unwanted shoes.
The collection will be in the Houston area, including Friendswood, Pearland, Clear Lake, Pasadena, DeerPark, League City and Dickinson.
FUNDRAISING GOAL: 7,500 pairs of shoes = $3,000*
This money will be used to fund medical research, and clinical genetic trials scheduled to start in March 2015.
*Shoes are shipped to under-developed countries, where they are recycle via funds2org.com.

Mission Statement
Create funding for medical research and clinical trials for the rare genetic disorder known as Sanfilippo Syndrome. Educating parents as to what this desease is, and what to look for in their children, to get an early diagnoses.
Description
Our current goal is to collect 7,500 pairs of shoes. The shoes must to rubber-banded & placed in 300 bags with 25 pairs of shoes in each bag.
To reach our goal, volunteers can assist in creating innovative ways to find shoes for donation. Help place boxes and signs at drop-off locations and assist in the pick-up of shoes.
Once collected, volunteeers assist in loading bags onto a truck. A minimun of 6 volunteers are needed for the loading process.
