Come volunteer for one of Hartford Marathon Foundation's road race events within CT, RI and MA! Impact your community by helping at one of HMF's 35 events a year. Help benefit one of the many charities we partner with throughout the race season!
Not only can volunteering with HMF be exiting and inspiring, as a volunteer you can also earn HMF credits - a gift certificate for HMF merchandise or a free race entry to any of HMF events!
Volunteer Positions Available:
- Water Stations (Great for a groups or families!)
- Course monitors (Must have a drivers license)
- Athlete registration
- Kids Races
- Cyclists
- Athlete Food Station
- Finish Line (Great for kids!)

The Hartford Marathon Foundation is a 501(c)(3) , not for profit organization, founded in 1994 and located in Glastonbury, Connecticut, USA. Our mission is to organize programs and events that promote health, fitness and enjoyment for participants of all ages and experience levels. Over 70,000 people participate annually in HMF events.
Description
HMF is a nonprofit organization that produces about 35 road race events each year throughout CT, RI and MA to promote health and fitness within the community. We also serve as a fundraising platform for mutliple charities each year to raise funds and awareness for their organizations.
Each and every event requires many volunteers to run effectively. Volunteer positions for each event vary depending on the race. The most common volunteer activities available are athlete registration, athlete shirt distribution, course monitors, water station, finish line, kids k races, ect.
