Rocky Mountain Communities is a nonprofit providing affordable housing and resident services, and each year we host a summer enrichment program for our kids who will be entering 2nd through 5th grades in the fall. Kids do an hour of reading, an hour of math games, get breakfast, lunch and recess, and do a variety of enrichment activities.
We're looking for volunteers who can help in all aspects of the program!
We'll meet Monday through Thursday from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm three weeks in June (4-21), 3 weeks in July (2-19) and three weeks in August (July 30-August 16).
We'd love to have: 1) groups who can take on a day or a full week (to give the kids some much-needed consistency), 2) individuals who can come for a week (Mon-Thursday), and 3) individuals who can come the same day at least two weeks in a row, but any time you give us will be appreciated and make a huge impact!
Last summer, all of our kids improved their math scores and their reading scores as well. Please help us do the same this year!
