Promedica Hospice is looking for caring and compassionate members of the community with an interest in volunteering to serve terminally ill patients and their families. Volunteers are truly remarkable individuals, who unselfishly give their time, talents and energy to help others. We depend on our Volunteers to help us provide the extra attention that our patients and their families need during the last stage of the patient's life. Our Volunteers provide friendly support and companionship, they play a vital role in our organization and they are rewarded with the kind of gratification that comes from helping others.
We provide our Volunteers with detailed training and orientation to the hospice program so they fully understand our caring philosophy and goals, and prepare for the skills necessary to assist patients and their families.
