From Monday, December 17 thru Friday, December 21, we will be entering our busy pre-Christmas holiday season, where an exceptionally large number of families and individuals will come to LifeNet4Families for a food box. at the rate of over 200 per day. We are currently recruiting ten (10) extra volunteers for both a morning (8:30- 12) and afternoon (12 - 3) shift. As we did prior to Thankgiving, volunteers will be involved with making food boxes and sorting produce at our home location, as well as directing traffic and putting the food boxes into customer cars at a drive-thru distribution site in Oakland Park.
This is a great activity for individuals, families, adults, school and faith-based groups seeking Community Service opportunities, as well as anyone eager to help Broward County's hungry and needy residents.

LifeNet4Families , a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization, has been devoted to eradicating hunger, homelessness, and poverty in Broward County, Florida since 1985. We began by distributing PB&J sandwiches and have since expanded to provide a spectrum of essential services, including:
- Homestyle Dining and Meals To-Go
- Showers, Personal Hygiene Kits, and Clothing
- Case Management and Healthcare
Our team of staff and volunteers provides these services in a warm, friendly environment. Join us as a volunteer and experience how you can make a positive impact on your community while growing personally.
