Do you enjoy working with school age children? Do you enjoy tutoring several different subjects?

Then volunteering at the Lincoln Public Library in the Homework Center after school is just what you have been looking for.

Homework center is drop-in for students K-8th grade needing help with homework, and our volunteers help assist students with their homework questions. While many of our Coaches bring subject expertise, you don’t need to be an expert in any subject to help! Our coaches build a positive environment and talk students through their assignments. The Homework Center is open Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday from 2:45 to 4:45 pm during the school year.

Ideal Homework Coaches:

  • Love to see students succeed
  • Can commit to coming in 2 hours/week for a full semester, from 2:45-4:45 PM on Mondays, Tuesdays, or Wednesdays.

If you can help on any of these days/times, please reach out! We would love to have you come join our team of volunteers!

Thank you for your consideration.
