Our fall event, Pumpkin Patch Trolley, is a family focused fundraiser for the Seashore Trolley Museum.
The event dates are:
Saturday and Sunday
September 22 and 23
September 29 and 30
Volunteers help with the operation of the event in a number of ways:
- Moving of Pumpkins
- Face Painting
- Carnival Games
- Parking Guides
- Greeters
- Restocking paint supplies
- Ensuring visitor safety
Museum staff will guide you for whichever task you may be interested in.
Pumpkins
Heavy lifting may be required for volunteers wishing to assist with the moving of pumpkins. After pumpkins are painted by our visitors in the event area, they're placed in crates that we then place on one of our trolley cars. The trolley brings the pumpkins to the pick-up area near the Museum exit. Pumpkins then need to be unloaded from the trolley car.
Face Painting
One of the features we offer as part of the event is facepainting. We'll provide the paint and supplies, you come ready with an artistic hand.
Parking Guides
We need volunteers to assist with directing our visitors upon entering our parking lot.
Ensuring Safety
Volunteers ensure that visitors are safe in the event area, an open field partially filled with pumpkins, tents with face painting and pumpkin painting, and an inflatable bounce house.
Carnival Games - Games of Skill
We now have carnival games included in the list of event activities. Volunteers would be monitoring games, handing out tickets for winners of games and handing out prizes.
