Unlocking Futures is a not-for-profit, volunteer driven organization committed to transforming the chaotic lives of young people through persistent and compassionate mentoring. Woman to Woman is a premier intervention program utilizing a transformational curriculum and mentorship to develop leadership and resiliency among pregnant and parenting teen moms. It offers preventive training for young women at high risk of becoming teenage mothers. The program is designed to keep teen girls from dropping out of school, becoming involved in delinquent behaviors and permanently dependent on the social services system. Unlocking Futures is looking for female mentors and, if you would like to make a difference in the lives of young girls, we are the perfect match. Please, send me an email at brenda@nyunlockingfutures.org or give me call at (212) 791-4927 ext. 222. I will be happy to answer any questions.
