THIS ASSIGNMENT IS FOR GROUPS ONLY
Circle B Bar Reserve plays a key role in the restoration of Lake Hancock, improving the water quality of the Peace River and providing a public recreational area. They are seeking groups to come in for short-term projects that include some landscaping, cleanup, and preparation for future studies. The maximum group recommendation is 25 participants. Your group may be split into teams based on project needs. Help is needed with weeding, mulching, planting trees/plants, debris cleanup, and trash/recycle cleanup.
Polk's Nature Discovery Center is located at the Circle B Bar Reserve. The free discovery center has exhibits specifically designed to engage and excite visitors of all ages. It is a place to explore Polk's water, wildlife, and wilderness and gain a better understanding of the delicate ecosystems of Central Florida. There are numerous hands-on indoor and outdoor exhibits, picnic facilities, and nature trails, making it a great choice for families.
