Race Day wouldn't happen without Volunteers!

Volunteers are needed for the Sunday, May 3 Race for Hope, a 5K Walk/Run to find a cure for brain tumors. We can use your help for a minimum of two hours, or for the entire race. Last year, volunteers helped us raise $2.5 million in the fight against brain tumors.

Possible assignments include race set up, registration and t-shirt distribution, course monitoring, water station, food and beverage; finish line; Metro greeters, Survivor tribute, Kids Fun Run, and clean up. We'd love to have both individuals and groups such as Boy and Girl Scout troops, schools, or alumni groups help out. The event is also eligible for school service hours.

The Race begins and ends at Freedom Plaza , which is between 13th and 14th Streets at Pennsylvania Avenue; very close to the Federal Triangle and Metro Center stations. This race is a really fun event and you will know you are a part of a very special day for all of those who are searching for a cure for brain tumors!

All volunteers receive a special Race Day Volunteer t-shirt. Please register to volunteer by going to this link Cure Brain Tumors/Volunteer or just send a message for more information. Thank you!
